**Scottsdale Little League: 2024 Fall Baseball Program Overview**
Welcome to Scottsdale Little League's 2024 Fall Baseball Program! Our fall season is designed to offer a fun, flexible, and development-focused experience for young baseball players. Running from September 6th to November 23rd, our fall program is ideal for players aged 5-12 (2025 Little League age), offering a balance of skill-building and relaxed competition. Here's what makes our fall program unique:
**Player Development and Learning**
- Our fall season emphasizes player development and skill improvement. Coaches work closely with players to hone their batting, fielding, pitching, and base-running skills, providing individualized feedback and encouragement.
- Through focused drills, game scenarios, and team-building activities, players will develop a deeper understanding of baseball fundamentals while having fun and building confidence.
**More Flexible Schedule**
- We understand that fall is a busy time for families, with school back in session and other sports and activities in full swing. That's why our fall program offers a lighter schedule than our spring season. Allowing players to participate in other fall sports or extracurricular activities.
- Practices are held once a week, with most games taking place on Friday evenings. This flexibility ensures that your child can enjoy baseball without overwhelming their schedule.
- Some games will be played on Saturdays based on field availability and depending on the division.
**A Fun and Engaging Experience**
- Our fall season is all about having fun and learning the game. We use Major League Baseball (MLB) team themes to add an extra layer of excitement, with players wearing MLB-themed uniforms and competing against teams representing other MLB franchises.
- The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, with a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. It's a great opportunity for players to make new friends, improve their skills, and fall in love with the game.
**Open to All Skill Levels**
- Whether your child is new to baseball or has played for years, our fall program has a place for them. We offer divisions for different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that each player is challenged appropriately and has a rewarding experience.
